Peers Together

Peers Together is one-to-one peer support for anyone who lives with bipolar and provides up to 12 meetings with a Peer Worker or Peer Volunteer. Whatever your situation, and however long you have been living with bipolar, we believe there’s opportunity to learn new ways to live well by connecting with another person who also lives with the condition. If you are newly diagnosed, Beyond Diagnosis may be more suitable for you.

Working together with another person who also lives with bipolar may help you to:

  • Explore problem solving and ways of coping together
  • Find new ways to think about your bipolar
  • Make sense of your past experiences
  • Learn new things about yourself
  • Increase your confidence
  • Move towards your hopes and aspirations for the future

Peers Together is about working in partnership, through shared experience and connection, to move towards a better future – whatever this may look like for you.

Meetings will take place over the telephone or by video, and we can work with anyone aged 16+ who lives in Scotland.
