How We Can Help

Embedded in communities throughout the country, Bipolar Scotland delivers key support to people in Scotland living with bipolar through our four main services. Lived experience is at the heart of all of them.

Our Support Groups meet monthly in person and online, bringing together people living with bipolar and those who support them to form a community. Find your local group here.

We understand that a diagnosis of bipolar can be life-changing. Beyond Diagnosis is a peer-to-peer designed service that supports newly-diagnosed individuals, connecting them with a peer worker who is living well with bipolar, for up to six months of financial, practical and emotional support and guidance. Find out more here.

Peers Together offers similar support to Beyond Diagnosis, tailored to those who have been living with bipolar for longer periods of time. Access up to twelve one-hour sessions with a designated peer worker or peer volunteer who also lives with bipolar. Find out more here.

Available exclusively to our members, our free Self-Management Training courses, both online and in-person, are led by experienced trainers and provide learners with tools and techniques to better manage the condition and minimise its worst highs and lows. We also offer courses to family and friends. Find out more here.
